MASON, Ohio (WKRC) - Hearings will soon start as United States companies plead with lawmakers to exempt them from President Donald Trump's proposed China tariffs.
"Those cards all require hand assembly and, therefore, all have to be made overseas and almost all of those are made in China due to the hand-assembly training and expertise there," said White.
White is hoping his testimony is enough to exclude greeting cards from a potential tariff.
We would like to thank Mr White who speak out for the greeting card industry. The section 301 will harm the small business difinitly. We don't want to see that happen.
